End of College NYX Wishlist

Wednesday, 15 June 2016
Late last week I finally finished my AS exam, I'll be honest some went well others not so but as some of them count for nothing I'm not feeling too down about it. Regardless currently I have started learning the second year and we finish college officially mid July. Now recently a NYX counter opened up in my local Boots and I've purchased a few bits so far but I have decided to treat myself to some NYX products as a 'well done you survived gift.' Here's my wishlist so far!

NYX Wishlist

I sort of have a budget and sort of don't which probably sounds strange. I have a Boots voucher that gets me £5 worth of points if I spend £35 and a double points voucher to use. So my budget is around £35 which is what my wishlist adds up to luckily!

NYX Wishlist

  1. Buenos Aries Matte Lip Cream - £5.50
I have five of these already I think but I need an everyday nude one to add to my collection and it's a close tie between this and also Athens depending which swatches better in store!

  2. Dewy Finishing Spray - £7.00
I still don't own a setting spray, crazy right. This one looks like a good place to start though, I have dry skin so matte products won't always work on me making this perfect for me.

  3. Tea&Cookies Liquid Suede Lipstick - £6.50
This looks a gorgeous colour and I really want to know how these differs to the lip creams. The colour selection is smaller but the swatches of this are so pretty.

  4. Blonde/Brunette Tame&Frame Brow Pomade - £5.50
Me and my eyebrows go through stages of friendliness, sometimes we're close, as are they in shape, otherwise they're awful. I haven't yet tried a pomade so I would like to see what effect it creates.

  5. Peaches&Cream Butter Lipgloss - £5.50
I love a good lip product as you can probably tell, but lately I have fallen off the gloss bandwagon. I thought I would try this though as people seems to love the butter lip glosses.

  6. Rust Jumbo Eyeshadow Crayon - £5.50
I picked up Milk on my first NYX visit but now after seeing swatches I think Rust is perfect, especially if I receive the ABH Modern Renaissance palette for my birthday hint hint!

There are my picks, I'm counting down the days until I can go and purchase these bits and try them out! Are there any products you would recommend I add to my list? Also if you have NYX hauled recently please leave me a link in the comments!

  1. I have their pomades on my wishlist too. I just want to see if they are a cheaper alternative to ABH dipbrow, but my boots is still not stocking NYX yet :( xx

  2. Well done for getting to the end of your exams! Try not to worry too much as you've done them now and you can only hope for the best results. I remember how stressed out I used to get but remembering that it's all done and there's no going back is an easy way to take the stress off your shoulders.

The Rust crayon sounds lovely! Definitely worth having a little splurge when Boot's have their points deals on, it's insane how quickly they add up when you use double points and it makes it so easy to spend a lot to get as many points as possible! I'll be doing the same as you and using up all my vouchers when I've been paid.

Here's my very first NYX haul, enjoy!

  3. Great wishlist! I would love to try the Pomade out... I use, and love, the ABH version, so I would like to do a comparison post on the two.
