My Spending Ban and Project Pan

I start uni in less than a month, which is both terrifying and exciting. But it also means I'm going to have considerably less money than I'm used to and so I've decided: I'm on a spending ban.

Huda Beauty: The Best Liquid Lipsticks Ever?

My Auntie flies in from Dubai every so often and last time she did, she kindly asked if I would like a couple of bits from Sephora. Of course, as someone who does not have easy access to a Sephora I jumped at the chance to choose a couple of bits, one of which was this cute set of Huda Beauty mini lipsticks.

25 Post Ideas for When You're Stuck

There's not long left of 18 post August now, we're talking only a week left and a handful of posts. I thought I would make today's one more helpful then informative in a way because there is way too much competition in the blogging world and not enough helping. Today I have 25 beauty blog post ideas to get you through September.

Sunday My Prince Will Come: A New Benefit Set

I'm going to start this post by saying that I love a good gift set, and that I also love makeup miniatures. So as you can imagine this Benefit set was right up my street. If you remember seeing this mentioned on the blog recently, you probably read my Charlotte Tilbury post, where I said that a Benefit gift set would be making an appearance - well here it is, I hope you enjoy!

Say Hello to Your New Magnitone Brand Ambassador*

I've got some very exciting news to share with you today, which you may or may not already know, depending whether you follow me on Instagram or not. The other week I was accepted as a Magnitone Brand Ambassador which is super exciting. They sent along a box of bits and I thought I would introduce you to the brand through a small introductory post.

Anyone Can Blog, But Can We All Be Successful?

It's not often that I'll do a post in response to another, but today is an exception. Recently I read an amazing and eye opening post from Holly over at TheKittyLuxe (who I'm sure you all follow already!) Anyway her post discussed so called 'levelling up' within the blogging industry and how sometimes we can find ourselves floundering and unable to progress. I read the post the day it was published and since then couldn't help but wonder whether there is enough room for all of us - and also what we all class as success.

My First (But Definitely Not Last) Charlotte Tilbury Products

I don't know about you, but I find that some brands just ooze class, maybe it's the packaging or perhaps simply just the product, but there's definitely something that gives them the wow factor. For me one such brand has to be Charlotte Tilbury. Everyone loves her products, the packaging is very blogger friendly and you can't fault the marketing. Up until my birthday I hadn't really had the chance to try anything - sure I had a few of the lipstick pocket type things, but they're no comparison to a proper product.

The Latest Clarins Free Gift - 5 Products!

Strange though it seems, I rarely go out and spend an extortionate amount of money while shopping. Instead my money disappears on little purchases here and there. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but I did go shopping last week with my auntie (who is very good at helping me spend money,) and I made a few substantial purchases. One of which I received a free gift with and I'm going to share it with you today.

Results Day: I Actually Got my Top Choice!?

It was results day today, as you could probably tell by the fact the hashtag #alevelresults was trending on Twitter from around 7am. I'll be honest I was nervous last night, sleep wasn't exactly coming easy and I was up most of the evening on TheStudentRoom looking at stories of people getting in to their chosen universities with low grades. I applied for English Language and Linguistics at Southampton in the end... and I got in!

My New Fragrance from YSL

I've never actually bought myself a proper perfume before. Sure I've got a Hollister spray or two, and a perfume I put on my Christmas list, but I'd never purchased one myself. This had to change of course and last week as an 18th birthday present to myself I finally settled on a perfume and I went and bought it.

Formula 10.0.6 Skincare - The Best Smelling Ever!?*

You've probably seen the brand Formula 10.0.6 pop up on Instagram lately as almost everyone seems to be trying it out. After commenting on a few photos from bloggers of the skincare, I noticed I had a message request asking if I would like to try a few bits - being the avid skincare enthusiast I am, I jumped at the opportunity!

The Skincare Brand of the Moment: The Ordinary

The Ordinary is big right now; everyone and their dog seems to be raving about them. As usual I gave into the hype, I was less restrained than I have been with previous hyped up products due to the very affordable price tag.

Best Birthday Ever? I Fed a Giraffe!!

I turned 18 last week which was rather exciting, more exciting was that my dad and stepmum had a surprise lined up. I'm usually quite impatient when it comes to surprises but this one was definitely worth the wait.

The Products I 'Needed' From Lush

If you weren't aware already, Lush are doing their yearly discontinuation of products (full list here) to make way for new ones. Which is all well and good, but it does mean those of us who love the products being discontinued have to make a mercy dash to stock up - like I did. There was a lot of uproar as fan favourite The Comforter shower cream is off, however I wasn't too worried about that one as I wasn't its biggest fan, but there was one that I couldn't miss out on. So I decided to show you what I ended up buying!

My GlamGlow Collection: Is It Worth The Hype?*

If you haven't seen GlamGlow pop up on blogs, social media or online, I'd be rather surprised. I managed to keep away from the hype for a while but then GlamGlow contacted me over Instagram after seeing that I'd tried a sample of their SuperMud to see if I'd like a tube to try out. Obviously I couldn't turn down that offer and since my collection has grown - but is GlamGlow worth the hype it's given?

It's My Birthday and I'm Finally 18!

The day is finally here, I'm actually 18 and let's be honest I don't feel any different. I've always been one of the young ones, everyone was on holiday for my parties. The only good thing about a summer birthday, is when you're 18 - everyone else is too and you can all go out and get drunk. (Not that I'm actually too into drinking, though I am partial to the occasional mango vodka and lemonade.) And yes, I did spend ages arranging little stars to make a good blog photo!

Hello Gorgeous: It's The Perfect Lush Gift!

As you might know, it's my birthday tomorrow and today I thought I would share with you one of the gifts I received from some old family friends - I know I opened it early but we had a little get together so it seemed rude not to. While you might have seen this set pop up on my wish list, they say they never saw it which makes for a very happy coincidence really!

The MAC Lipstick I Repurchased

It's very rare as a beauty blogger that you will find me repurchasing anything, let alone a lipstick. This is usually because of two reasons: one being that I have so many others and two because I rarely fall in love with a product enough to want another. But obviously there are exceptions, and this MAC lipstick is certainly one of those.
