Hello Gorgeous: It's The Perfect Lush Gift!

Wednesday, 2 August 2017
As you might know, it's my birthday tomorrow and today I thought I would share with you one of the gifts I received from some old family friends - I know I opened it early but we had a little get together so it seemed rude not to. While you might have seen this set pop up on my wish list, they say they never saw it which makes for a very happy coincidence really!

The Hello Gorgeous gift from Lush is pretty much the perfect gift for me as it contains some fan favourites. Lush describe this gift as: 'An all-over gorgeous glow as you exfoliate, moisturise and soak with beautiful pampering products.' I'd say they pretty much hit the nail on the head with their description because the set contains everything you could need to wind down of an evening and pamper yourself.

First in the box are two bath related products, a bubble bar and bath bomb. The bubble bar is a full size of my favourite scent ever: The Comforter. It's the most gorgeous blackcurrant fragrance, and turns your bath water a beautiful pinky colour. The best bit is that unlike a bath bomb you can get a good few uses out if it, I tend to break this into four, sometimes five if I'm lucky. You can also get loads of bubbles if you crumble it under the running water. The bath bomb is Sex Bomb, quite a classic one, pink and purple with a small rose on the top. According to Lush the scent is jasmine, ylang-ylang and sage, I had to refer to the website as to me it simply smelt nice. (I'm not great at describing as might be able to tell.)

The other three items are more for skin than bath so I grouped them together. There's a mini pot of Rub Rub Rub in the set, and if you've tried it you'll know it smells so good. It's a really gritty salt and gives you a really nice exfoliation as well as leaving you smelling slightly lemony. There is also a tub of Love and Light hand cream; I'd never tried a Lush hand cream before this, not because I think they're bad I just haven't got round to it. This is a really nice consistency and doesn't take too long to absorb into your hands either, also the citrusy scent it gives is pretty good too. Last but not least is a sample of the Gorgeous Facial Moisturiser. Now I've also never used a Lush moisturiser, this is mainly because they have a hefty price tag: £42.50. So it is nice to have a little pot to try, hopefully I won't fall in love, or I'll have to save up for a while!

Overall, it's my perfect Lush giftset. It has The Comforter and Rub Rub Rub - two of my favourites - and some bits that I'm yet to try. If you're needing a gift that will pamper the recipient, this is a good one! So thanks to the Kerrs. they know who they are, I will pamper myself in the coming weeks for sure!
