Now I am aware that technically speaking Autumn started a couple of weeks ago but its taken me this long to transition over completely. I don’t wear makeup everyday at the moment s mainly because I’m just too tired on a college morning or still sleeping! But when I do have time I have a set routine to make sure I leave on time and here it is…
I’m going to start with base today which at the moment is the one and only NARS Sheer Glow in the lightest shade of course which is Siberia. I got this not too long ago in my NARS Haul and since I bought it I haven’t really stopped wearing it because it’s the nicest foundation I own and it looks stunning. For brows I go to the NYX Tame and Frame in Brunette which leaves my brows slightly darker than I wear them in summer however this product lasts forever and it also is not red toned at all, which is really rare for brow products. I completely skip eye makeup as my eyes are always watering in autumn/winter which isn’t ideal. So it is the perfect time to use Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara because it makes my lashes longer and makes my eyes look wider and more awake.
My finishing touches are of course the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Crayon in Train Bleu as it is definitely an autumnal colour. It’s a gorgeous dark berry purple, it’s like nothing I already have in my collection which is really good. Then I am loving my Lord&Berry Blush in Cinnamon* in normal circumstances I hate cinnamon but in blush it is quickly becoming a favourite of mine. It’s quite a shimmery blush but it’s neutral undertones add a whole new dimension to the face. Finally what is a face without a glow? Cream higlighters such as this Kroylan for Glossybox one, mean that I can dot it on as I am walking out of the door and blend when I get on the bus.
It’s not a laborious routine in anyone’s book but as my skin is in quite nice condition at the moment I really don’t see the point of packing on the concealer if it’s unnecessary, especially if it’s only for college.
