I love the normal kind of pick ‘n’ mix, I fill my bag with all the goodies I can, I also do the same with FeelUnique’s version. Instead of sweets they offer beauty samples for £3.95 a month which isn’t half bad really. I subscribed a few months back first and then somehow forgot about the service, but here I am back with five goodies to show you from some pretty good brands!
I managed to choose three makeup bits which always make me happy: first up there was a small sample of the Urban Decay Subversion mascara. When I say small I mean 0.5ml small which isn’t too bad and will be perfect for travel, more so than deluxe samples simply because of its size. I’ve tried the mascara before and I do quite like it so I wasn’t going to say no to a backup. I also chose to try the Nude by Nature Translucent Loose Finishing Powder because it was a decent size sample even if the powder isn’t completely translucent. The final makeup choice was a sample of the Nars blush in Orgasm, it used to be such a coveted product so I saw no harm in giving it a go. The sample came in a card which was unexpected, I was hoping for a mini compact, but it’s still a decent size.
The two other choices were purely on which seemed better value for money. The Vichy Micellar Water offered an opportunity to try something other than my Garnier one and the St. Tropez Gradual Tan is the only self tanner I have ever used, and as summer is coming up I’d like to be slightly less pale than usual.
Let’s be honest it’s a pretty good deal, pay £3.95 get 5 sample size products and then redeem the money back on your next order! You should definitely try the service, there are so many brands to choose from too.
