As you might be able to tell from the title of this post, I’ve been a little spendy lately. What with finishing exams and a few other not so positive occurrences I thought I deserved a few treats. There will definitely be some follow up posts letting you know what I think of some of my purchases as I want to try them out fully first.
My first order was from GlamGlow. I was kindly sent out a sample of their SuperMud a while ago and absolutely loved it so I decided it was high time to try out a couple of others. When I went to buy a pot I could only afford a mini as let’s be honest £50 for a facemask isn’t exactly cheap. Luckily though, there was a great deal on at the time which got me a free 15g Thirsty Mud (the one I was planning to get anyway) with any purchase. Sadly my second choice mask, after ThirstyMud, YouthMud was sold out so I went for a mini of GravityMud because everyone seems to love it. Not only did I already have a free ThirstyMud I also got to choose two sample sachets of other masks, and it seemed silly not to go for YouthMud and FlashMud. So I now have four new GlamGlow masks to try out, result really.
My next order was one from Benefit. They had an amazing sale on which meant I could get their Real Tempting Threesome for only £14.10 including p&p, they even let me use my student discount on top of sale prices which was pretty good. The little set comes with their full size Push Up Liner and minis of They’re Real and the They’re Real Makeup Remover – which makes this a great deal as the RRP was £25. I also got two free samples with my order, one being a mini Goof Proof which you can see above and the other was a POREfessional Instant Wipeout facemask.
The last two bits aren’t as big so I thought I would put them together. After I heard MAC was launching at LookFantastic I had to order a lipstick. I chose Hue as it is my favourite MAC lipstick and I’m fast approaching using my current one up, which would be a shame as it is my perfect nude. Finally, I needed a new eyeliner and a lot of people seem to love Soap&Glory’s Supercat liner, so I jumped on the bandwagon. It seems like a good liner so far, not too expensive either.
It’s only a small haul really, though there have been a few more bits bought since I took the photo which I’m sure you will get to see very soon… What have you been buying lately? Also don’t forget to enter my giveaway!
