Exciting times everyone as here begins my 12 Days of Gifting. From the 1st to the 12th of December I will be posting everyday, and each day will focus on a different gift idea! First up is a pretty great post: a Magnitone Gift Guide – because who wouldn’t want to receive one of their many treats.
I am a Magnitone Ambassador, and they have kindly provided the products mentioned within this post. They have also provided me with a facial cleansing brush to giveaway to one of you which was very kind of them. I also want to make you aware before you continue reading that all links to Magnitone within this post will be affiliate links – meaning if you click through and make a purchase I make a small amount of commission. I would really appreciate if you did use my link but you are under no obligation to. It just helps a student out!
Probably the products Magnitone are most famous for are up first – The WipeOut Cloths and also the Barefaced Facial Cleansing Brush.
Now the WipeOut cloths* are an absolute dream for the lazy girl, they take off makeup without the need for any cleanser at all. Obviously, if you’d prefer to use a cleanser with it, that’s definitely an option. I often find myself using these after doing any kind of exercise just because it gently cleanses and even if I’m not wearing makeup. Also, I’ll admit I’m quite forgetful and so I usually run out of face wipes (I know they’re bad for your face… but some days you just need them.) Luckily for me, these are practically reusable wipes, apparently you can get around 1000 uses, so better for the environment too. They’re only £15 for two which is quite a saving, especially if you’re a regular face wipe user. There’s also a cute little set for £20 which includes two cloths and a Benefit Roller Lash mini.
Perfect Gift For: Avid Gym Go-er/Lazy Makeup Taker Off-er
Then on to one of my favourites: the Barefaced Cleansing Brush*. Now as you can see the one in the photo above, my one, is pink. If you’re eagle eyed you’ll have also noticed that in the first photo there is a gorgeous shimmery blue one too – which frankly is the prettiest brush ever. I’ve been using my pink one since the summer and have various brush heads for it, for my skin I prefer the sensitive brush head. The brush itself has worked wonders for my skin. I have used it day to day for a simple cleanse. I have used it to take off extreme Halloween makeup, (which it did exceptionally and the brush head didn’t stain either.) My skin has played up of late and from experience without the brush, the brush has made it a lot better. What is even better about this brush is that you can multitask. It’s waterproof and consequently can be used in the shower, which when you’re running late is a godsend. Now the pink one is slightly cheaper at £70 – it’s an investment but my skin would agree it’s worth it, you also get two brush heads with Barefaced, and it comes in three colours: pink, blue and yellow. Now the Serenity Blue brush*, featured at the top of the page, is more expensive at £90 but it does come with the stimulator brush head which aims to ‘enhance skin simulation and skincare absorption.’ Both versions charge by a magnetic attachment to the front and a usb – there’s no direct plug in port so it remains waterproof. Honestly, the charge seems to last forever on mine, I’ve only had to recharge it once or twice so far. Check at the bottom of the page for my Rose Gold Barefaced Brush Giveaway!
Perfect Gift For: Skincare Fanatic/Problem Skin Suffers
One of the most hyped products of late has to be this rather unique makeup brush. It is the BlendUp VibraSonic Makeup Blending Brush* – it’s a mouthful but it’s an amazing product. This is a vibrating makeup brush that applies your base flawlessly. You might be thinking it doesn’t do much for the price tag but in actual fact it does many things: foundation, powder, contour, bronzing and highlighting – it also claims it can do eyeshadow too but I’m yet to try that. It’s actually so much quicker than you think it would be, on par with using a sponge and gives varying coverage depending how you use it. On to the price, it’s quite a hefty £70 but if you’re quick you might be able to grab a bargain: at the time of writing you could get the BlendUp brush and a WipeOut cloth for only £59.49, (click on the makeup tab to find the deal!)
