Well we have made it into 2018. Into the new year we go and I thought we would start with a nice old ‘Welcome to January’ post to get into the swing of posting again!
I’ll start with a little content update for you. I will still be posting twice a week, Wednesday and Saturday at around 7am, because that seems to work well for me. It is unlikely that I will be able to blog anymore than twice a week until around Easter, as sadly even though I’m only a first year I still need to pass. We’re sticking to predominantly beauty based content as that’s what I like to read most, but in a change to previous years I might also be posting in other areas, such as fitness and lifestyle. Obviously, if they’re not your taste feel free to skip over those ones and stay for the beauty ones!
If you missed my last post of 2017, you won’t have seen my resolutions in all their glory. I’ll shorten them down a little though. Firstly, I am trying to raise my fitness level so I can be better at hockey. Secondly, I want to get organised, both blog and uni wise. Sorting out my sleeping pattern is also a resolution which should help with me wanting to feel better with how I look. Full details are in this post here.
I’m also trying to be more positive and motivated with everything in my life. Because of this I have set a few blog goals. If you look back to last year I managed to achieve two out of three blog goals; only Bloglovin’ let me down! This year I am looking to reach 1000 Bloglovin’ followers, 3000 Twitter followers and 1500 Instagram followers. All of these seem quite realistic and will hopefully get me to push to create the best content possible between now and December the 31st 2018.
I’m more than likely to do a few more of these check in posts throughout the year. I was thinking every three months or so, but we shall wait to see whether my life and blog have been interesting enough to need one! I hope your January has been good so far.
