Day three of Dubai week is upon us. Today brings a brief look into my plane carry on in the essentials that got me through the flight, and the rest of my trip. Enjoy my Dubai edit: beauty carry on.
The first thing I had to bring was a hand sanitiser, I picked up the Soap&Glory Hand Maid mini in the 3 for 2 at Boots along with Hand Food hand cream. The problem with planes, is that if you’re by the window, come lunchtime you are not going to want to get up to wash your hands. Instead I use hand sanitiser and then hand cream to keep my hands soft and clean.
I also, as you may have noticed, brought along two different lip balms. The first was the Palmers Cocoa Butter lip balm SPF 15, turns out my lips despise this and felt dryer than before I applied. So, I hastily had to rush to Boots in duty free and pick up the Nivea SPF 15 balm instead – which ended up being a lot kinder to my skin than the Palmers.
The Rodial Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Acid Tonic was a go to for on the go hydration. The fine mist made sure I didn’t annoy anyone next to me, it also helped that I had a seat between me and another person on the way there which was a result. I continued to use this throughout the trip because boy is it hot out there!
My final inclusion to my carry on was a very mini Benefit Gimmie Brow. I thought I should take this to try and make myself look slightly more alive at 6am. I did manage to apply it before I left home and it really did help me.
I hope you liked today’s instalment of our Visit Dubai feature – the Sephora giveaway is still live on my Instagram, don’t forget to enter. Tomorrow is going to be all about things to see and do. Before you go, don’t forget to check out my last two posts on: SPF and my Dubai Haul!
